This is a Jaff Kurdish bag from northwest Persian, Iraq area and dates the early 1900s. The bag was used for carrying goods on a camel or horse. Dyes are all natural.  Two opposite ends are woven cejim with loops. The other opposing edges are hand wrapped. Foundation is wool and handknotted.

The bag back has the original back and had been converted into a floor cushion. The size is 31” square, approximately and a 10” height. The insert is firm as is desireable for a floor cushion. I am happy to deconstruct and fill with feathers if you wish to use it as a bench pillow or as a floor mat or table top for a nominal charge.
